Trackway Aluminium Steerable Panels

Support your aluminium trackway run with aluminium divergence panels! Create up to 30-degree turns to create smooth bends for temporary roadways and walkways.

  • Temporary Roadways
  • Pedestrian Walkways
  • Site support

Used alongside our aluminium trackway panels or trackway rolls, steerable panels are designed to create non-linear trackway systems. Manufactured from a similar 6000-series aluminium alloy to our standard panels, steerable panels provide robust ground protection while giving you the adaptability to create bends and directional changes in temporary roads or walkways.

You find a route, we’ll find a way!

Wherever your A and wherever your B, our temporary roads get you where you need to be.

We’ve worked with manufacturers to make sure we have the best panels on the market. On one side panels are cross-serrated while the other side is heavier duty for extra traction on slopes or for use with heavier plant. We simply choose the most appropriate side for each stage of a project. Tough internal connectors provide a strong, flat surface and all panels can be cross-bonded to create an extremely robust trackway.

Manufactured from 100% recycleable 6063 aluminium, our aluminium steerable panels are corrosion, slip and weather resistant.
Capable of supporting variable loads of up to 250 tonnes depending on the underlying ground conditions. For any projects involving gross weights exceeding 250 tonnes, please consult our team for specialist technical advice.
Engineered to protect ground surfaces with minimal damage, preventing deep dents, tyre rutting and scarring with hardwearing, corrugated panels.
Provides excellent traction on all surfaces and slopes. Our aluminium steerable panels feature a heavy duty reverse side that creates extra traction for vehicles and heavy plant.

Useful Product Information

Steerable Trackway Panels give temporary access routes the flexibility to follow the site rather than forcing the site to follow the trackway. Designed to create bends and directional changes within temporary roads and walkways, they can be used alongside standard aluminium panels or trackway rolls to build more adaptable access systems around obstacles, boundaries and restricted areas.

  • Create Directional Changes: Steerable panels allow temporary roads and walkways to bend around obstacles, site boundaries and restricted areas where a straight trackway run is not practical.
  • Improve Route Flexibility: Adapt temporary access routes to suit the natural layout of the site, helping you reach work areas without unnecessary ground disturbance.
  • Compatible With Trackway Systems: Use steerable panels alongside standard aluminium panels or trackway rolls to introduce bends and changes of direction within a wider temporary access system.
  • Robust Ground Protection: Manufactured from durable 6000-series aluminium, steerable panels provide dependable surface protection while adding greater adaptability to the trackway route.
  • Curved Temporary Roads: Introduce gradual bends into vehicle access routes where obstacles, buildings or site boundaries prevent a straight trackway installation.
  • Restricted Site Access: Navigate around existing infrastructure, compounds, trees, structures or other areas that cannot be crossed directly.
  • Temporary Walkways: Create pedestrian routes that follow natural pathways or site layouts rather than relying solely on straight sections.
  • Remote Access Routes: Adapt trackway around challenging terrain and site features when accessing infrastructure or work areas in rural and undeveloped locations.
  • Telecoms: Navigate temporary access routes around compounds, field boundaries and natural obstacles when reaching remote mast and communications sites.
  • Utilities: Create adaptable routes to substations, pipelines, water assets and transmission infrastructure where direct access is restricted.
  • Rail & Infrastructure: Build temporary access around embankments, structures and existing infrastructure on complex or confined project sites.
  • Outdoor Events & Festivals: Shape temporary roads and walkways around arenas, marquees, barriers and other event infrastructure while helping protect the venue beneath.
So far, our experience with trackway has been a good one, positive site meetings and good communications.  Works have now been planned in, and we look forward to working alongside Trackway solutions to deliver our next project safely and successfully.
