Taking part in the BBC Children in Need Countryfile Ramble

This year’s Children in Need appeal show takes place on November 13th at 7:30pm on BBC One. However, there have already been a number of fundraising events taking place up and down the country, one of which was the recent Countryfile Ramble.

On the weekend of 10-11th October, the Countryfile team took part in a televised ramble to raise money and awareness for Children in Need. Members of the public were also encouraged to organise their own rambles and raise sponsorship funds for the charity.

The BBC Children in Need Countryfile Ramble took place at the Windsor Great Park, but the organisers faced one key problem: how to make the park accessible for visitors and participants. That’s where Trackway Solutions came in. The Ramble organisers contacted us, and we were more than happy to provide them with Trackway to create access to the general parking and disabled parking areas.

Our installation team, headed up by Adam and Andy, arrived on site in advance of the event, and worked closely with the organisers to position the Trackway in the best possible locations. Our team are very experienced, and they drew on previous site set-ups to ensure that the Trackway was laid safely and efficiently, allowing the event to go off without a hitch.

Don’t forget to tune into the appeal show in a couple of weeks; and you can watch the special Children in Need episode of Countryfile on Sunday November 1st at 6pm on BBC One.
